The Modern Family DBT Class educates family members of West Pine's patients about the Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills their loved ones are learning in outpatient treatment. This allows family members to speak the same "language" of recovery, thus allowing the entire family to be more successful in coping with mental illness.

It has undergone a substantial renovation and expansion, with the final section scheduled to finish up in early June. The $16 million project was designed to better serve the west metro community with more spacious, single-occupancy treatment rooms for improved privacy; sliding glass doors for easy access; a new patient walk-in entrance, registration and triage area; and a Fast-Track section for those with less severe health issues.
